- 💜❤️🧡 I'm feeling a burst of energy in general in life, and I see a shift in my way of thinking.
- ❤️❤️❤️ Being energized by making a habit of waking up early, taking a coffee when arriving at the office, and keeping up with the "start early, finish early" vibe.
- ❤️❤️❤️ Feeling refreshed by taking breaks to play music. Playing at a funk-music gig at the end of week really helped to get me motivated, and I enjoyed doing something completely different in the middle of the day.
- ❤️❤️❤️ Sam Bent posted a review video about Dangerzone — the project I'm working on for a year or so — explaining why it's useful, how it works, with a demo. Pretty exciting to be showcased like this!
- ❤️❤️ At the end of each day, I'm usually taking notes about what I've done. In addition to that, I'm now trying to see what the next day looks like. I love what this brings me: clarity of vision, knowing where to start back when I arrive at work, and also seing some items being carried over creates a motivation to actually finish them.
- 💜💜 I've skipped a planned meeting because of misplanning (my fault), and haven't felt guilty about it. Work/Life balance is also about keeping the space, specially when working with people on the other side of the earth!
- ❤️ I've managed to avoid digging rabbit holes by two means: 1) deprioritizing and 2) seing when we were starting to derail the conversation and keep it for later.
- 💔 I sat in a meeting without really contributing, and felt frustrated as a result. I would like to define meeting agendas beforehand and know where my input is useful (or not).
- 💔 I've been in activists meeting where some people where questioning the usefulness of pseudonyms, and the whole "doing things with security in mind" idea. It's saddening to see some folks don't (yet?) see the point of privacy, especially given the polical context we're in. That being said, I also think there is something to be heard: they made an interesting point about how the culture of security impacts the "communication" between folks — and I would even add could participate to sentiment of fatigue — making it hard to connect. If you have resources about the topic, I'm very interested!

- I've finished the canadian series Empathie, 100% recommend!
- I'm very concerned about a recent Trump decree considering anti-fascists as terrorists. We're seeing the rise of an authoritarian regime and don't know what to do to make it stop.
- Framework, the company that's making laptops with repleacable parts is actively funding projects led by toxic and racist authors:
> With all due respect, I think you profoundly misunderstand the nature of my concern here.
>
> This is not a “I do not like this distribution” kind of argument.
>
> This is a “the people you are sending my money to want me and my friends dead or deported” kind of argument.
> — Framework supporting far-right racists?
- 🎵 I can't stop listening to Tuba Skinny for a 3rd week in a row (New Orleans Jazz music)
- 🎵 I've just discovered the last album "Landscape from Memory", by Rival Consoles, and was very happy to press play (Ambient electronic music)
- Giving money to Spotify was a bad idea, and so I'm redirecting this to Qobuz. Pretty cool that they hand-craft their playlists. I am pretty happy with the move so far.
